About the role

Detail-oriented, reliable, and creative team player to conduct field evaluations of new and existing electrical power distribution systems. Analyze, calculate, and design for new or rehabilitated infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field and technical evaluations of existing electrical power distribution systems
  • Develop calculations, repair drawings, and repair/replacement recommendations, specifications, and scope of work packages
  • Attend client technical meetings and field walk-downs
  • Provide technical support for field execution, including outage/turnover projects
  • Assist with constructability planning, proposal, and estimate development
  • Power Distribution (Medium and Low Voltage) for Industrial Plants

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure
  • Knowledge of Electrical Engineering codes; Arc Flash experience preferred
  • Experience working with other disciplines
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

Field Assignment Requirements

Individual field assignments typically have unique requirements. Prior to deployment, you must meet all client-specific site requirements. If unable or unwilling, continued employment depends on availability of other suitable assignments. Requirements may include:

  • Physical mobility (on the ground and at heights)
  • Ability to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs
  • Work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off platforms/scaffolding/ladders using required fall protection
  • Work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, wind) while wearing appropriate PPE (hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, steel-toed work boots)
  • Work in confined spaces
  • Adhere to client’s random drug testing program prior to entering their site
  • Meet client’s facial hair safety policy prior to entering their site

Professional Development

  • Develop electrical knowledge and project skills
  • Develop skills used to generate electrical deliverables
  • Develop client and site skills

Pay

Pay range: $90,000 - $130,000 annually. Base salary is determined by factors unique to each candidate, including depth of experience, skill set, certifications, specific work location, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus and/or other incentive compensation plans.
