Associate Director, US Study Start-Up

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely start-up of all clinical studies across multiple therapeutic areas according to agreed timelines
• Support operations between central and local study teams for study start-up activities
• Accurately forecast timelines related to study start-up activities within the country
• Maintain tracking for study site status from initial contact through to activation
• Optimize processes in collaboration with stakeholders and share best practices
• Stay updated on changes in site start-up requirements by connecting with local experts

Qualifications

• University degree in Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biology or related fields) or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in clinical operations or similar roles within the pharmaceutical industry
• Solid knowledge of ICH-GCP and local regulations
• Experience managing study start-up activities across multiple clinical sites in the US
