Associate Director, Transformation Program Management
About the role
The Associate Director, Transformation Program Management is responsible for building, leading, and scaling the Transformation Program Management Office for Carrier’s Commercial HVAC business. This role oversees a portfolio of enterprise transformation initiatives across multiple operating companies, enabling execution of strategic priorities through strong governance, program leadership, and organizational alignment.
Job Responsibilities
- PMO Leadership & Governance
- Scale the Transformation PMO, including governance frameworks, operating cadence, and performance management standards
- Drive portfolio prioritization, resource allocation, and alignment to strategic business objectives
- Monitor program progress, risks, and outcomes to ensure delivery against enterprise goals
- Strategic Program Oversight
- Provide oversight and guidance across a portfolio of transformation programs, including digital implementation, organizational redesign, and strategic initiatives
- Partner with program leaders and stakeholders to shape strategy, remove barriers, and ensure execution excellence
- Drive alignment of program outcomes with business growth, profitability, and market share objectives
- Executive Engagement & Influence
- Serve as a liaison to the CHVAC Senior Leadership Team
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, milestones, and measurable outcomes with team
- Develop and deliver executive-level updates, insights, and recommendations on program performance
- Transformation Leadership & Culture
- Champion a growth mindset and foster a culture of innovation and thought leadership across the organization
- Enable the business to evolve in response to market dynamics, customer needs, and strategic priorities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of program or project management
- 25% travel including international
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Masters
- PMP certification
- Leadership coaching and developing experience
- Ability to create cross functional relationships in a global matrixed environment
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
