Associate Director, Technology Innovation
Responsibilities
- Lead the development efforts in the field of Gen AI, including developing new algorithms, models, and techniques for analyzing and interpreting enterprise data
- Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to identify new opportunities for innovation and research in the field of Gen AI
- Coordinate with a team of engineers and developers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of GenAI/AI projects
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop proof of concept (POC) projects and prototypes that demonstrate the potential of Gen AI
- Portray as a thought leader for Gen AI, Gen AI roadmaps, and next generation technology direction
Qualifications
- Minimum eight years of recent experience in development implementing SDLC projects; minimum five years of recent experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required
- Proven experience in bringing in AI platforms/Solutions to solve business problems and make a business impact; hands-on experience with Python, Azure AI foundry or Google enterprise Agent platform (Vertex AI)
- Strong leadership skills, experience managing and working with cross-functional team of developers and engineers; hands-on experience developing applications with AI technologies preferably GenAI; strong digital skills, fast learner on emerging technology and new ways of working
- Able to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations and ability to apply multiple AI solutions to business problems
- Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to set goals and participate in strategic initiatives for a team; foster the development of high-performance teams and interface with all levels of the organization; capability to participate in development of resource plans and structures and influence organizational priorities
