Position Objectives
The role supports Takeda's mission to serve patients by enhancing the speed and success of R&D growth through data-driven and scientifically disciplined processes. Key responsibilities include leading asset-level delivery strategies, collaborating cross-functionally, and ensuring efficient and compliant delivery.
Position Accountabilities
- Lead delivery for one or more assets at GPT level or specialty area in preclinical, clinical, translational
- Facilitate execution and delivery collaboration cross functionally in Global Project Teams (GPTs), generally within DQS and R&D, and with external vendors
- Enable the consistent execution of the SQS and DQS seamless and predictable delivery mission
- Create an internal cross-functional and external with vendors sphere of influence in predictable delivery
- Identify opportunity for continuous improvement in delivery approaches and leverage fit-for-purpose mitigations
Education, Behavioral Competencies and Skills
- Education: Must have a degree in statistics/biostatistics or an equivalent quantitative science field, with specific credentials such as a PhD with 5+ years of experience or an MS with 8+ years of experience
- Technical Skills: Subject matter expertise in quantitative and statistical areas, strong communication skills, ability to identify and implement innovative approaches, and mentorship capabilities
Compensation and Benefits
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $154,400.00 - $242,550.00. Employees may be eligible for short-term and long-term incentives, medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, company match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits. Additionally, employees may accrue up to 80 hours of sick time and 120 hours of paid vacation per year.
