Associate Director, Software Engineering

SS&C Technologies · Braintree, MA · 4 wk ago
Full-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the Team (maybe "About the role"? The posting has "About the Team:" heading. According to rules, use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). We need to map content accordingly. We have sections: About the Team (maybe treat as About the role). Then responsibilities: Day to Day list. Then Minimum Qualifications (Requirements/Qualifications). Then "It would be great if you also:" maybe Skills? Could be "Preferred Qualifications". Then benefits: they list benefits in "Why You Will Love It Here!" and later "SS&C Technologies offers a comprehensive total rewards package...". Also they have salary range for Massachusetts. So we need Pay section if actual salary stated. They gave "Actual base salary will vary..." and then "Massachusetts: The expected base salary for the position is between 180000 USD to 195000 USD." That's specific enough for Pay section. So include Pay with that range. Schedule: Not mentioned. So omit. Benefits: They list many: Flexibility: Hybrid Work Model & Business Casual Dress Code, Your Future: 401k Matching Program, Professional Development Reimbursement, Work/Life Balance: Flexible Personal/Vacation Time Off, Sick Leave, Paid Holidays, Your Wellbeing: Medical, Dental, Vision, Employee Assistance Program, Parental Leave, Diversity & Inclusion, Training, Extra Perks: Discounts on fitness clubs, travel and more! Also later: medical, dental, vision coverage; 401(k) plan with company match; paid time off, holidays, parental leave; professional development reimbursement opportunity. So we can combine. We need to avoid boilerplate like EEO, unsolicited resumes note, etc. Remove those lines. We must preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep specifics like "Hybrid Work Model & a Business Casual Dress Code, including jeans", "401k Matching Program", "Professional Development Reimbursement", "Flexible Personal/Vacation Time Off", "Sick Leave", "Paid Holidays", "Medical, Dental, Vision, Employee Assistance Program, Parental Leave", "Diversity & Inclusion: Committed to Welcoming, Celebrating and Thriving on Diversity", "Training: Hands-On, Team-Customized, including SS&C University and dedicated onboarding for AI-driven engineering tools", "Extra Perks: Discounts on fitness clubs, travel and more!". Also "Day to Day" list of responsibilities. We need to use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So for responsibilities list, we need
    • . For qualifications list, also
      • . For benefits list, also
        • . For skills maybe also list. We need to use

for prose. We must not repeat job title as heading. Not include Job ID. We must output only HTML fragment. Let's structure:

          • Flexible Personal/Vacation Time Off

          Pay

Massachusetts: expected base salary between $180,000 USD and $195,000 USD (actual base salary varies based on skills, experience, education, performance, and location).

We should not include schedule. Check for any duplicated lines: we removed unsolicited resumes note, EEO, etc. Check that we kept all substantive info: About the Team paragraph: we need to include that prose. Let's capture it: "As an Associate Director on the platform services team, you will run the day-to-day operations on the team and play a key role in architecting, designing, and implementing the core infrastructure that powers the Eclipse™ family of products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the platform, enabling us to deliver exceptional user experiences to our rapidly growing customer base. The mission of the platform services team is to provide a suite of reusable software components which enable all Eclipse™ engineering teams to build microservices that meet our requirements for scalability, testability, and observability in a highly automated CI/CD environment. Platform services increasingly mean designing for AI agents as well as human engineers — paved-path reference architectures, agent-accessible APIs, and living documentation that stays in sync with the code. As an associate director, you’ll help shape how the team adopts AI-driven software development practices without compromising quality." We need to include that as prose under About the Team. Also there is an introductory paragraph about SS&C at top: "SS&C is a leading provider...". That's generic company description; maybe we can include as part of About the Team? But it's not specific to role; but it's substantive info about company. The instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we should keep that too. Where to put? Could be a brief intro before About the Team. Since we cannot create a heading for generic company overview unless matches allowed headings. Could put as

before the first heading. That's allowed: we can have prose outside headings. The rules: Use

          for section headings (list). Use
          • for any list, and

for prose. So we can have a

            with the company overview. Then

            About the Team

with its prose. Let's include that. Now check for any other substantive info: "Why You Will Love It Here!" we turned into Benefits. Good. "Day to Day:" we turned into Responsibilities. "Minimum Qualifications:" we turned into Minimum Qualifications. "It would be great if you also:" we turned into Preferred Qualifications. "SS&C Technologies offers a comprehensive total rewards package..." we incorporated into Benefits (some duplication). Ensure we didn't miss any: they also mention "Actual base salary will vary based on several factors..." we included in Pay. Also "Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled." That's application instruction; we should remove per instruction: remove application instructions. So drop that. Also "Unless explicitly requested or approached by SS&C Technologies, Inc. or any of its affiliated companies, the company will not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services." That's also a kind of instruction; remove. Also EEO line: remove. Now ensure we didn't inadvertently include any boilerplate like "Founded in 1986, SS&C is headquartered in Windsor, Connecticut, and has offices worldwide." That's part of company overview; we keep. Now produce final HTML. Make sure no markdown fences. Just raw HTML. Let's craft:

SS&C is a leading provider of mission-critical, AI-powered technology and services empowering financial services and healthcare organizations to work smarter, faster, and securely. Founded in 1986, SS&C is headquartered in Windsor, Connecticut, and has offices worldwide. More than 23,000 financial services and healthcare organizations, from the world's largest companies to small and mid-market firms, rely on SS&C for expertise, scale, and technology.
