Job Summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Associate Director, RN for their NE (women/infants-labor delivery, triage, nursery, mom/baby postpartum, and Pediatrics) team in Casper, WY. The position is contract-based, in-office, with shifts that may vary depending on staffing needs and call shifts available based on those needs. The start date is May 25th.

About the role

Responsible for overseeing the nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care, managing daily operations, and collaborating with other departments to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee nursing staff to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Manage daily operations including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality assurance
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
  • Develop and implement training programs for nursing staff
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and meetings
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding new nursing staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current RN license in Wyoming
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a healthcare leadership role
  • Experience with healthcare regulations and accreditation processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor nursing staff
  • Experience with healthcare technology and electronic health records
  • Knowledge of infection control and prevention practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
