Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven leader with exceptional financial acumen and a passion for operational excellence. The ideal candidate is an e-finance champion who thrives on leveraging data, forecasting tools, and financial reporting to drive informed business decisions, maximize profitability, and maintain exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction. This leadership position assists the successful operation of Food & Nutrition Services in an Acute Care Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the System Director in leading all aspects of food service operations while maintaining accountability for financial performance, budget management, and cost containment.
- Monitor and manage annual operating budgets, food costs, labor costs, and departmental expenses to achieve financial targets.
- Utilize financial systems, forecasting tools, and analytics to identify trends, manage variances, and proactively implement corrective actions.
- Partner with management team to develop accurate forecasts, strategic financial plans, and business improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, purchasing standards, and inventory control processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar food service budgets and delivering strong financial results.
- Advanced understanding of food cost management, labor productivity, inventory controls, and financial forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
- Experience utilizing financial management systems, dashboards, reporting tools, and forecasting platforms.
- Must have strong employee engagement skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
