Associate Director, Revenue Controller
About the role
This newly created Senior Manager Revenue Controller role is a senior contributor and business partner management position responsible for the integrity of revenue accounting in accordance with ASC606 (US GAAP) and IFRS 15 (IFRS) and the day-to-day accounts receivable operations of the commercial organization. The role owns the end-to-end accounting for the company’s gene therapy revenue transactions and partners closely with the Inventory Controller, broader finance teams (FP&A and financial reporting), and the commercial organization (including Medical Affairs).
This position drives the global month-, quarter-, and year-end close, monitors and assists in managing the financial close review, balance sheet reconciliations of key revenue and receivable accounts, manages transfer pricing accounting, and supports the tax finance team on matters such as the Dutch Innovation Box and VAT. The role requires close finance partnering due to global interdependencies but is not directly responsible for the Dutch Innovation Box and VAT.
We seek an independent, solution-driven thinker with a strong desire to automate processes and configure within SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. This high-visibility role is suited to a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in a complex, regulated, fast-evolving gene therapy manufacturing environment.
