About the role

Lead the development and execution of aligned dissemination plans across clinical, HEOR/RWE, PKPD, and disease state publications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams, alliance partners, and leading medical and scientific experts to ensure our research reaches the community accurately and on time. Location: Warren, NJ or Sleepy Hollow, NY. On-site, 4 days/week (relocation benefits available if eligible).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of scientific, clinical, and health-outcomes publications, ensuring accuracy, readability, and timely delivery
  • Shape the scientific narrative and lexicon behind our data, translating statistical findings into clear strategic communication
  • Guide cross-functional and alliance-wide publication teams through collaborative discussion, independent research, and strategic alignment
  • Oversee budget, forecasting, and resource allocation, tracking expenditures and flagging issues early
  • Partner across functions to identify gaps and opportunities that continually evolve our publication strategy
  • Track and report post-publication metrics, maintaining compliant, well-documented records in the Publication Management Tool (e.g., iEnvision), vendor and budget management
  • Manage timelines, quality, and efficiency across publication activities
  • Review and submit manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations in partnership with cross-functional colleagues

Requirements

  • Master's degree in science with 8+ years of related experience, or PhD/PharmD/MD with 5+ years of experience in medical affairs, publications, or scientific communications
  • Strong publication, writing, and editing skills
  • Working knowledge of Good Publication Practice (GPP 22), ICMJE, OIG, PhRMA code, Sunshine Act, and copyright/permission guidelines
  • Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams and alliances with drug development partners
  • Oncology, ophthalmology or hematology experience preferred

Pay

Salary Range (annually): $157,200.00 - $256,600.00

Schedule

On-site, 4 days per week.
