Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day project management lead for the Private Company Audit Methodology (PCAM) Independence and Channel Management Program.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute initiatives that support the operating model and ensure delivery of defined outcomes, milestones, and strategic priorities.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Tax, Audit, Advisory, Independence, PCAM leadership, and KPMG Private leadership to align workplans, manage dependencies, coordinate operating model impacts, and support timely decision-making.
  • Manage execution of the program plan by monitoring progress, managing scope changes, tracking risks and issues, preparing status reports, and developing leadership materials that support visibility and accountability.
  • Support the PCAM Channel Steering Group and PCAM Channel Management team by managing meeting agendas, materials, action items, follow-up, communications, and education plans related to independence rules, service permissibility, the Channel one / Channel two framework, and escalation paths.
  • Establish and maintain governance structures, reporting, documentation, and continuous improvement processes to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities to reduce friction and scale independence and channel management solutions over time.

Qualifications

  • Minimum eight years of recent experience in project or program management, ideally within a large, complex, matrixed, or highly regulated professional services environment.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, with the ability to influence alignment and support timely decision-making.
  • Strong organizational, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage complex topics, competing priorities, and sensitive discussions.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments requiring sound judgment, discretion, and coordination around risk, compliance, regulatory, or professional standards matters.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook; experience with independence, risk management, regulatory, or professional standards topics is preferred.
