Role Summary

The Associate Director, Product Management – OEM Platforms will define product strategy, set measurable outcomes, and drive roadmap execution for a portfolio of insight and performance solutions. They will assess OEM client needs, evaluate competitive dynamics, and lead the development of differentiated data products that help customers uncover trends, understand selling patterns, and improve business performance.

Responsibilities And Impact

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for OEM Platforms, including product vision, strategy, outcomes, roadmap development, customer validation, launch, and scale.
  • Develop and evolve the product strategy based on customer needs, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape, with a particular focus on OEM use cases and growth opportunities in the automotive sector.
  • Lead strategic roadmap planning by translating business problems and market insights into prioritized initiatives, clear requirements, and action plans that deliver measurable value to customers and the business.
  • Shape portfolio strategy to drive sustainable growth, support revenue and margin objectives, and position the product suite for long-term success.
  • Innovate data-driven solutions that combine multiple datasets to solve complex industry challenges and deliver actionable market intelligence to automotive OEM clients.
  • Advance AI-enabled product capabilities by identifying and applying AI technologies that enhance insights, decision support, and product differentiation.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to bring strategic solutions to market and scale adoption.
  • Engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders to validate concepts, align priorities, and ensure product investments address real market needs.
  • Influence executive stakeholders through strong communication, clear product narratives, and data-backed recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
  • Help redefine how OEMs use market performance information to inform sales strategy, uncover opportunity areas, and improve performance across new and used vehicle sales and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related or technical field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in product management, product strategy, or related roles, including meaningful experience in the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated success owning product strategy and roadmap development for complex, data-centric products or platforms.
  • Experience building data-based products that integrate multiple datasets to generate meaningful customer and business insights.
  • Proven experience implementing AI technologies into products to improve product capability, user value, or market differentiation.
  • Ability to define customer problems through Voice of the Customer (VoC) input; shape a solution to solve the problem and ensure the solution TAM, SAM and SOM are significant and add value for the customer and our company.
  • Strong capability in requirements definition, roadmap planning, and stakeholder alignment across multiple functions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and drive decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal executive communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to lead in fast-paced environments, manage multiple priorities, and inspire cross-functional teams to execute against a shared vision.
  • Strong team player with an ability to develop effective working relationships across the organization as well as externally.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only)

Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
