Associate Director, Product Management - Market Strategy
This role fills a key spot within the Lending Systems division of Wolters Kluwer Compliance Solutions, contributing to accelerating growth and developing new strategies for the Wiz suite of products (Fair Lending, CRA, CD, Performance Analytics, HMDA, Small Biz) and OneSumX products related to financial and corporate crimes.
Responsibilities
- Pair with Product Management to ensure customer success at all points and interact with customers to understand their needs, preferences, pain points, and opportunities for solutions.
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new products or features.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales) to design, develop, and launch products.
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision aligned with the company’s long-term goals and market trends through well-executed business cases.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and market opportunities to inform product strategy.
- Influence product roadmaps, detailing the vision, goals, and timelines for product development.
- Track towards revenue and sales goals of Compliance Analytics related products.
- Understand key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product performance and measure success, including revenue, customer acquisition, customer retention, and market share.
- Effectively communicate the market strategy, roadmap, and performance to Executive Management and key stakeholders across the organization.
- Create a highly productive working relationship with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, partnerships, product management, product engineering, delivery and support, and finance.
- Act as a product growth champion, ensuring Compliance Analytics product strategies align with customer and sales needs.
- Develop business cases built on solid market understanding and data-driven revenue projections.
- Adopt New Product Innovation approach and Lean Product Cycle to ensure customer-centric product innovation and delivery.
- Prioritize product developments based on customer needs, business goals, and market potential.
- Identify strategic partnerships and/or potential acquisition targets that strengthen and expand existing available market.
- Translate key product value propositions and match them to the appropriate target segments/personas as input into sales and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with other CS segments to ensure product and go-to-market strategies are aligned using various product management tools (e.g., ProductPlan).
- Support VP & Segment Leader and other leaders as assigned.
- Participate and provide content for the annual CRA & Fair Lending Colloquium.
- Represent WKFS and participate in presentations at seminars and industry conferences, and draft articles, white papers, etc., for internal and external consumption.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with exposure to banking regulatory compliance and a minimum of 10 years of experience (leadership experience is a plus).
- Ability to develop relationships and work closely with internal and external constituents.
- Collaborative team player with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and process technical detail and simplify it into relevant messaging and illustrations.
- Ability to perform well in customer-facing presentations and pitches.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Experience managing and coordinating efforts across complex teams.
- Expert in Microsoft Office Suite, with specific abilities to develop presentations and manipulate spreadsheets (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Pay
$146,900.00 - $262,400.00 USD. This role is eligible for a bonus. The compensation range listed is based on the primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by factors including skills, experience, and hiring location.
