Associate Director of Product Management
Description
A Little Bit About Us: You might know us from our founder and CEO, Dave Ramsey, who's given no-nonsense money advice on the radio since 1992. Three decades later, Ramsey Solutions is a household name in personal finance, with a mission to change the toxic money culture for good. Our Mission: Ramsey Solutions provides biblically based, commonsense education and empowerment that give HOPE to everyone in every walk of life.
Where And How You'd Work
Ramsey Solutions Headquarters is located just outside of Nashville in Franklin, Tennessee. We value our strong, unified company culture because we believe the best work is done together. That's why all of our team members work on-site under the same roof. But work-life balance is also important to us, so we offer flexible work schedules to take the stress out of appointments, family obligations and other needs that may pop up. While every team member has a designated workspace (with an electronic sit-stand desk), our campus was designed to house a variety of unique work and play zones (e.g., quiet library space, coffee bar/lounge areas, recreational game zone, and outside/patio work and break areas).
What You'd Do In This Role
Building a new foundation is rarely a straight line, and that's exactly the kind of challenge this role was made for. You'll own the strategy and execution of marketplace services in Ramsey's real estate space, leading a team of product managers and driving toward a consumer experience that's genuinely valuable and frictionless. This is a leadership-forward role: you'll coach your team through complex problems, hold a high standard for how product thinking gets done, and stay close to the business outcomes that drive real results. If you're a business thinker who thrives on turning ambiguity into clear direction, you'll find a lot to get excited about here.
What You'd Need
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping and owning real outcomes.
- Led or mentored product managers and know how to develop people, not just move work through a system.
- Gravitates toward "what should we build and why" before jumping to how.
- Execution-oriented: theory is interesting, but impact is the point, and you've got the results to prove it.
- Prioritizes when everything feels urgent and keeps the team focused on what actually moves the needle.
- Naturally thinks in systems, connecting multiple teams, products, and priorities into a cohesive strategy that drives results.
- Energized by early-stage work and builds structure from ambiguity without waiting for a perfect map.
- Worked in a marketplace environment (think Thumbtack, Angi, Amazon, or eBay) and understands what makes those experiences work for both sides of the transaction.
What Winning Looks Like
- Leading product squads with consistent cadence, including weekly connects, one-on-ones, and real-time coaching that makes the team sharper over time.
- Driving adoption efforts across marketplace services with clear, ongoing communication on progress, wins, and what's coming next.
- Coaching product managers through how to break down problems, weigh options, and connect individual decisions to a broader strategy.
- Removing friction in the consumer experience by staying focused on the leading indicators that produce real business results.
- Holding the team accountable to a high bar for critical thinking, storytelling, and calculated strategic decision-making from the individual contributor level up.
- Building toward a marketplace services foundation that scales, with a clear and well-reasoned point of view on what should be built next and why.
