Associate Director of Product Development

For our client, we are seeking a Associate Director of Product Development to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will shape the strategy and commercialization of new data products with a strong focus on alternative datasets and client needs. You will partner closely with internal teams to identify opportunities, evaluate data sources, and turn insights into offerings that create measurable value for customers and the business. The position combines product strategy, market-facing discovery, and cross-functional execution in a fast-moving data and technology environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $185,000 – $200,000 annually Responsibilities Drive revenue growth by launching new alternative data products Explore opportunities to commercialize new datasets Collaborate with the Partnerships team to source new datasets Conduct client interviews to understand user workflows and needs Develop product strategy that adds value to existing data and research offerings Communicate product progress and roadmaps to stakeholders Potentially manage a team of Product Development Analysts Qualifications 5+ years of alternative data experience, including evaluation and sourcing of datasets Proven track record of developing impactful alternative data research or feed products Client-facing or buy-side experience with an understanding of financial client needs Strong customer-centric product thinking using data-driven decisions Demonstrated product innovation and effective prioritization skills Ability to collaborate with and motivate cross-functional teams Understanding of technology related to data collection and delivery Benefits Flexible work hours and vacation policies Generous 401K match and parental leave Wellness budget and learning reimbursement Focus on personal growth and self-improvement Equity participation in the company Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
