About the role
The Associate Director position will be a part of the Housing Services Management team. This role is an amazing opportunity for a person interested in leveraging their unique skill set to lead and implement one of Los Angeles' County's largest efforts to end homelessness.
Responsibilities
- Leads and implements one of Los Angeles' County's largest efforts to end homelessness
- Leverages unique skill set to lead and implement one of Los Angeles' County's largest efforts to end homelessness
- Works in an organizational environment that values new ideas and inclusive decision making
- Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, including the Housing and Inspections teams, to create processes that support housing stability and produce strong outcomes
- Designs proper procedures and strategies and ensures they are followed to meet program and funder objectives
- Facilitates and participates in coordinated activities and meetings with agency partners
- Works with FHSP Housing teams, Program Operations and BC's Data/Tech departments to utilize data-driven analysis and forecasting to measure and evaluate the performance of programs and program goals
Requirements
- Professional Experience:
- At least 4 years of people management experience, including at least 2 years of direct supervision of managers or supervisors
- At least 2 years oversight of large, multidisciplinary teams within a large-scale Housing First or tenancy support program
- Proven ability to design, implement, and improve programmatic processes while maintaining compliance with funder requirements and contracts
- Strong background in strategic planning, operational leadership, and performance management, including the use of data to inform decision-making

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., social work, public policy, urban planning)
- Experience: At least 4 years of people management experience, including at least 2 years of direct supervision of managers or supervisors
- Skills: Proven ability to design, implement, and improve programmatic processes while maintaining compliance with funder requirements and contracts
