About the role

The Associate Director of Creator, Social Commerce will drive content and influencer strategy across client campaigns. Reporting to the Managing Director of Social Commerce, this role requires a deep understanding of creative and performance, building influencer relationships, shaping content, and using data to optimize performance.

  • Own content initiatives across client campaigns — shaping what gets made, testing new formats and angles, and keeping content aligned with brand goals and platform best practices.
  • Build and manage direct relationships with creators and influencers, sourcing the right partners for each brand and keeping them engaged and producing high-quality content.
  • Write and iterate on hooks and creative briefs, translating data into clearer, sharper direction for creators and the creative team.
  • Analyze content and campaign performance to identify what's working and why, then feed those insights back into briefs, hooks, and content direction.
  • Partner with Strategy, Media Buying, and Creative to align content and influencer output with client objectives and campaign timelines.
  • Report on content performance, influencer contribution, and creative quality trends using structured KPIs and platform data.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, emerging formats, and creator behavior, bringing fresh ideas that keep client content competitive.

Requirements

This is a fully remote role operating in the EST Time Zone (9-5) and all business is conducted 100% in English.

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in content strategy, influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or social commerce.
  • Proven track record building and managing influencer/creator relationships and sourcing partners who deliver high-performing content.
  • Strong content instincts paired with a performance mindset — you can write a hook, read the data behind it, and know what to change.
  • Comfortable working with performance data to inform creative decisions; you treat content as something to test, measure, and improve.
  • Deep fluency in social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, and emerging channels), current formats, and creator behavior.
  • Proficient with influencer/creator sourcing and tracking tools (e.g., TikTok Creator Marketplace, UpPromote, or similar CRM platforms).
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator who works well across departments and directly with creators.
  • Highly self-directed — this is an individual-contributor role that owns outcomes without a team underneath it.
