Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to school-based managers for compliance implementation
- Review documentation and service tracking to align with legal standards
- Identify and address compliance risks effectively within schools
- Ensure execution of DOE/CSE processes including evaluations and timelines
- Oversee system integrity of key compliance and data platforms
- Conduct regular compliance audits and monitor trends across schools
- Design and deliver training for staff on compliance tools and practices
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in special services or compliance operations
- Deep knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and NYSED regulations
- Proven track record of operational excellence in special services
- Strong organizational skills to manage complex multi-school processes
- Proactive problem-solving abilities with a focus on compliance risks
- Exceptional communication skills that simplify compliance guidance
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and readiness for audits
