Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive yield plans, focusing on converting admitted students to enrolled students.
- Monitor application funnels, analyze conversion metrics, and utilize CRM tools to track student engagement.
- Assist with the planning and execution of on-campus and virtual yield events, such as admitted student days and regional receptions.
- Assist with the development of personalized communication plans (email, phone, digital) for prospective and admitted students.
- Build partnerships with campus stakeholders, high school counselors, and alumni to enhance personalized recruitment efforts.
- Train and supervise admission counselors and student workers on conversion techniques.
- Attend scholarship award day events.
- Manage the logistics of recruitment and yield travel; maintain the admissions travel schedule and recruitment calendar.
- Provide feedback to the Senior Director about trends in key recruitment markets to determine where is best to send Admissions Counselors for recruitment events.
- Track and record visiting student data in the CRM.
- Assist with the coordination and implementation of on-campus recruitment programs (large open house events, guidance counselor tours, admitted student days, transfer student days, and individual and school group visits).
- Provide coverage for college fair conflicts and conduct information sessions as necessary.
- Discuss recruitment plans with Admissions Counselors and serve as resource for the development and recruitment efforts.
- Extract data from ERP/SIS (Banner) and CRM and develop regular and periodic reports on admissions, enrollment, and student admissions.
- Consistently review all components of the recruiting model and make changes as necessary to achieve incoming class goals.
- Supervise staff members and coordinate the selection, training, evaluation, and development of staff positions.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related area; minimum of 3 years of experience in higher education, preferably working within admissions and recruitment outreach initiatives or enrollment management, with a demonstrated focus on recruitment and conversion strategies.
- Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
- Demonstrated success in working with faculty, students, parents and staff;
- General knowledge of university operations, policies and procedures;
- Superior communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage concurrent projects and demands;
- Excellent human relations and administrative skills, especially the ability to manage sensitive information with decorum and confidentiality;
- Ability to participate in recruitment events and travel on occasional nights and weekends;
- Ability to effectively navigate ERP/SIS systems (e.g. Banner, Workday, Oracle, etc.)
- Proven expertise in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Slate, Recruit, Element451, etc.), data analytics, and high-level communication skills.
- Ability to provide work direction to staff and student employees.
