Associate Director, Medical Writer - Publications

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of strategic scientific publications and congress materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external experts
• Ensure clarity, accuracy, and impact in scientific communications
• Manage multiple concurrent projects across different regions
• Establish professional relationships with internal teams and external partners

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or MS) in life sciences; oncology specialization preferred
• 5-7 years of medical writing experience with a focus on global publication planning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration
• Knowledge of GPP, ICMJE guidelines, and global compliance standards

Pay

$143,900 – $193,900 annually
