Associate Director - Medical Science Liaison - CMH - Los Angeles South

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Associate Director - Medical Science Liaison - CMH - Los Angeles South to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This field-based role will serve as a key scientific resource for external experts while partnering closely with internal medical and cross-functional stakeholders. The position will focus on advancing therapeutic-area expertise, gathering actionable clinical insights, and supporting scientific exchange that informs broader medical strategy. Success in this role depends on strong territory management, compliance discipline, and the ability to translate complex science into meaningful dialogue and insights. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $156,000 – $250,800 annually.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and communicate advanced scientific knowledge in the therapeutic area
• Engage with Scientific Experts through two-way dialogues to address medical needs
• Synthesize clinical insights and communicate meaningful findings to internal teams
• Possess strategic analysis skills to maximize territory efficiency and accountability
• Demonstrate compliance with internal and external regulations in all activities

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD) with 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred
• Master's or bachelor's degree in health sciences considered with 5+ years of experience in a related therapeutic area
• Valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record required
• Authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis without sponsorship is necessary
• Proximity to a transport hub is essential for this field-based role
