Associate Director, Medical Affairs
Responsibilities
- Contributes to the medical affairs strategy for assigned portfolio in alignment with overall therapeutic area objectives
- Evaluates trends and therapeutic opportunities in cooperation with research and regional commercial organizations
- Implements strategy for scientific interactions with the medical community including key opinion leaders and patient advocacy groups
- Serves as scientific consultant to marketing, commercial and research project teams, providing input into promotional and educational materials for relevant therapeutic areas
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in science (PhD, PharmD)
- 10+ years' relevant pharmaceutical/biotherapeutics industry experience
- Solid experience interacting with commercial functions within the healthcare industry
- Knowledge of Transplant and Immunology
About the Role
The Associate Director, Medical Affairs (Transplant and Immunology) position is located in either the King of Prussia, PA or Waltham, MA office and is a hybrid position with 3 days per week onsite. Reporting to the Senior Director, Medical Affairs, Transplant & Immunology, this role contributes to the development of medical strategy for assigned inline products in Transplant & Immunology and drives the execution of Medical Affairs plans across the post-launch product lifecycle.
Pay
Please note this salary range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay that CSL expects to pay $185,000-219,000 for this position at the time of this posting for Waltham MA. Individual base salary for a successful candidate is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors. In addition to base salary, total compensation for this role may also include incentive compensation and equity.
