Associate Director Labor Relations - Remote

This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead labor relations strategy for designated business units to align with overall people strategy
  • Conduct collective bargaining negotiations and maintain all negotiations records
  • Advise senior leaders on complex labor and employee relations matters
  • Facilitate proactive engagement and relationship management with union representatives
  • Ensure timely responses to union inquiries and commitments
  • Resolve complex workforce issues in partnership with operational leaders
  • Leverage analytics and labor trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Act as a subject matter expert in labor-management meetings and negotiations

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in HR, labor relations, or employee relations, specifically with unionized environments
  • Strong familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA)
  • 1st chair experience in collective bargaining or labor negotiations
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills suitable for a variety of audiences
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations

Pay

$112,700 – $193,200 annually
