Associate Director / In-Venue Experience

About the Role

HokieVision's goal is to deliver personalized, significant and unexpected experiences to fans at all of Virginia Tech's home venues. As part of the HokieVision team, the Associate Director / In-Venue Experience will work to entertain the best college fans in the country. This position is part of the In-Venue Experience team, and will assist in developing, producing, and executing videoboard shows.

Responsibilities

• Planning and creating in-venue videoboard shows
• Working in the control room to execute videoboard shows
• Working with the Athletics external leadership team to plan and execute department initiatives
• Serving as the department representative in select sport squads

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with significant experience, or a master's degree
• Ability to work in a collaborative team setting, while also being self-motivated, organized, and having a strong work ethic
• Professional live game control room production experience
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Flexibility to work outside of typical business hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ross Dashboard
• Experience supervising or training students
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects

Pay & Schedule

• Salary: Up to $54,000
• Hours: 40+ per week, nights and weekends as needed
• Overtime Status: Exempt (not eligible for overtime)
• Appointment Type: Restricted
