Responsibilities
- Drive development and implementation of policy strategies to promote and protect company goals
- Translate policy trends into actionable insights for cross-functional teams
- Create executive-level briefing materials and strategic documents to support decision-making
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including legislators and health agencies
- Lead engagement with state policymakers and coordinate advocacy with internal teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in government affairs, health policy, or pharmaceutical policy with leadership in cross-functional initiatives
- Strong analytical and written communication skills to convert complex data into actionable insights
- Experience in the rare disease sector or biotech/pharmaceutical industry is essential
- Background in health policy with expertise in rare diseases preferred
Pay
$150,000 – $195,000 annually
