Associate Director, Global Study Management Associate Lead

About the role

This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track. The position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within a life sciences environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Manage Global Study Management Associates (gSMAs) through mentorship and development
• Assign qualified gSMA resources to studies aligned with portfolio goals
• Oversee training compliance and ensure readiness for inspections
• Review metrics and reports to identify risks and improvement opportunities
• Drive process optimization initiatives across teams for enhanced efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline; life science preferred
• 8+ years in the clinical trial industry
• At least 2 years of line management experience or relevant leadership in cross-functional teams
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• Strong leadership and management capabilities with a focus on team development
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Pay

$143,300 – $193,300 annually
