Associate Director for Law Library Services

At the Darling Law Library, we empower our community by enhancing the learning and research experience for our students, faculty, and staff. You’ll join a collaborative, service-driven team that values innovation and accessibility — and you’ll have genuine influence over library strategy, programming, and outreach, in the heart of Orange County, California.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the public services department — reference, research, instruction, and circulation — and supervise, train, and evaluate its librarians and staff.
• Teach legal research across the curriculum, from the first-year program to advanced courses and specialized workshops.
• Partner with the Library Director on strategic planning, policy, and administration, and lead library operations in the Director’s absence.
• Provide in-depth research support for faculty scholarship and oversee the work of the Research Librarians.
