About the role

As the Associate Director for the global Supply Chain/Source pillar within the EDPS, you will shape and lead the global digital strategy for Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Collaboration, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) transformation. This role is central to harmonizing sourcing processes, driving digital innovation, and deploying scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency across all Carrier factories. Your impact will extend across the enterprise as you guide architecture decisions, accelerate value delivery, and enable stronger supplier collaboration through modern digital platforms.

Job Description

  • Defining and executing the SOURCE pillar roadmap aligned with Carrier’s enterprise digital transformation strategy.
  • Partnering with business units to ensure sourcing capabilities support operational and financial goals.
  • Lead AI driven procurement transformation for multi-billion dollar sourcing business function.
  • Owning and maintaining the L0–L3 capability framework for SOURCE processes, ensuring capability maturity and continuous improvement.
  • Governing the end-to-end Sourcing and procurement process blueprint—including Design-to-Source, Source-to-Contract, Source-to-Order, Order-to-Receipt, and Invoice-to-Pay—while driving global harmonization.
  • Challenging solution designs, data models, and architectures to enforce global standards and best practices.
  • Providing technical leadership across sourcing technologies, including ERP, procurement systems, and supplier collaboration platforms.
  • Partnering with IT and architects to validate integrations, data structures, and platform scalability.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on sourcing technology and optimization strategies.
  • Facilitating cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on requirements and solution designs.
  • Ensuring compliance with global procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and data security standards.
  • Establishing KPIs, dashboards, and governance mechanisms to monitor sourcing performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 12+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain digital transformation.
  • 10+ years of experience in Source-to-Pay processes and sourcing technologies (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, GEP).
  • 8+ years of experience managing capability frameworks (L0–L3) and driving process standardization.
  • 5+ years of experience influencing senior stakeholders in strategic initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Computer Science, or Information Systems
  • Experience leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
  • Hands-on expertise with low/no-code platforms and custom digital application development.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data models and system integration patterns.
  • Intermediate/Expert knowledge in bringing AI capabilities into supply chain/sourcing.
  • Excellent communication skills

Pay

The annual salary for this position is between $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation

This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
