About the Role
The Associate Director will provide high-level executive support to the Dean and the Dean's Office, orchestrating complex logistics, and crafting communications to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage operations, including the calendar, travel itineraries, daily briefing book, event briefings and remarks, and responding to constituent inquiries.
- Work with the Dean's Office leadership to understand priorities and proactively align office activities accordingly to ensure adherence to deadlines and the highest quality standards.
- Manage communications, crafting and sending correspondence.
- Serve as a liaison for a wide range of internal and external stakeholder groups and cultivate relationships with faculty, administrators, and students.
- Manage special projects in partnership with the Chief of Staff and Director.
- Support events sponsored by the Dean's Office, such as receptions, conferences, programs, and meetings with faculty, administrators, and corporate partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience with office operations, drafting and editing external communications, events, project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven ability to communicate sensitive information and interact with high-profile stakeholders with professionalism.
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of standard office software.
Pay
USD $80,000 to $100,000 annual base salary range.
