Job Description Associate Director, Data Visualization Design and Content We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Associate Director, Data Visualization & Content with a primary focus on designing visual storytelling in PowerPoint. This role will lead the development of compelling long-form reports, strategic frameworks, point-of-view documents, and thought leadership materials that translate research and data into clear, polished, and visually sophisticated narratives. This role will lead the development of compelling research reports, articles, frameworks, and social content Location: NYC (hybrid 3 days in office)Type: W2 contract Duration: 4 month (potential for extension) Rate:$55-60/hr What You’ll Do Lead the design, editing, and production of thought-leadership reports, research, articles, and digital content.Create clear visual narratives using layouts, charts, diagrams, frameworks, and other data-visualization tools.The ideal candidate brings strong editorial instincts together with advanced presentation design skills, using data visualization, layouts, charts, diagrams, and modular visual systems to make complex ideas easier to understand and more impactful for internal and external audiences. This person will play a central role in shaping how insights are expressed, structured, and presented across a range of content formats. What You’ll Bring 7+ years of experience in content strategy, design, or a related field; newsroom experience is a plus.Experience creating digital and social content, managing websites, and applying SEO best practices.Strong judgment in shaping complex information into concise, audience-focused narratives.Comfort working with research, data, and visual storytelling.Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.A collaborative, detail-oriented, self-directed approach with strong communication skills.Strong skills in PowerPoint For consideration please apply with you recent resume and design portfolio with data visualization samples.
