About the role
The Associate Director, Data Analytics transforms pharmaceutical sales, claims, CRM, copay, and promotional activity data into actionable insights that improve the performance of FX2 client programs. The role partners closely with FX2 leadership, Performance Management, and client teams to measure program effectiveness, identify opportunities, and support data-driven targeting and resource allocation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze pharmaceutical prescribing, claims, copay, CRM, and promotional activity data to evaluate client program performance and identify actionable trends
- Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and recurring client reports integrating data from platforms such as MedScout, Veeva, Salesforce, RingCentral, and other client data sources
- Measure VSR and VRM performance using activity, engagement, prescribing, market-share, and other client-specific KPIs
- Support HCP targeting and segmentation by combining prescribing behavior, claims activity, engagement history, and other relevant data to prioritize opportunities; support FX2's prescriptive analytics capabilities by evaluating multiple performance indicators to improve target prioritization and call-plan effectiveness
- Integrate RingCentral activity with CRM data to assess call volume, reach, engagement, target-list adherence, and overall promotional effectiveness
- Analyze copay and pharmacy claims data, including approved, rejected, and reversed claims and rejection codes, to identify patient-access and reimbursement opportunities
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations for FX2 leadership, Performance Management, and client teams; prepare analytics and insights for weekly reporting, client business reviews, and program optimization discussions
- Maintain data quality and reporting consistency while helping enhance FX2's analytics processes, dashboards, and client-facing capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Statistics, Life Sciences, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial analytics, or a related area
- Experience working with pharmaceutical claims and prescribing data strongly preferred
- Experience with CRM platforms, Tableau or similar data visualization tools, and advanced Excel strongly preferred
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
- High standards for data governance, compliance, and the ethical use of data and analytics
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
