Associate Director, Data & AI Governance

Responsibilities

• Establish a comprehensive Data and AI Governance framework aligned with business strategy
• Define vision and roadmap for data quality and management programs
• Secure executive sponsorship and budget for governance initiatives
• Lead the Responsible AI program focusing on ethics and compliance
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and AI regulations
• Oversee AI Risk Assessment process to mitigate risks
• Build Data Stewardship and AI Governance roles and empower business unit owners
• Drive cultural shift towards responsible data and AI usage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, or Information Technology
• 10+ years leading data governance frameworks in large enterprises
• 8+ years in a senior leadership role managing global teams
• 8+ years working in AI/ML model lifecycle governance
• 8+ years with cloud-based data platforms and governance tools
• 5+ years in AI/GenAI governance and compliance frameworks
• 5+ years experience with global data and AI regulations like GDPR and CCPA

Pay

$143,000 – $286,000 annually
