About the role

The Associate Director - Corporate Treasury, Profitability & Risk-Adjusted Return within PNC's Asset Liability Management organization leads financial analysis, conducts research, and prepares reports. They participate in stress testing efforts, facilitate business strategy, and coordinate responses and remediation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts due diligence and statistical analysis related to liquidity and capital planning management.
  • Evaluates business performance, emerging opportunities, and financial risks.
  • Develops strategic analytics to support Corporate Treasury initiatives.
  • Translates financial and portfolio information into clear insights and potential recommendations.
  • Develops compelling presentations and executive narratives tailored to different audiences.
  • Leads cross-functional initiatives that improve the consistency and effectiveness of profitability and risk-adjusted return measurement.
  • Supports the integration of risk-adjusted return measures into key line-of-business processes and analyses.
  • Partners across Corporate Treasury, Finance, Risk, and other functions to advance the use of risk-adjusted return information in strategic decision-making.
  • Performs and supports analysis for ALCO and other senior executive forums.
  • Guides junior team members and reviews analytical and presentation deliverables.

Requirements

Experience in a Business, Risk, Treasury, or line-of-business Finance function at a Bank is preferred but not required. Experience driving the development of analytics and/or managing/working with large unstructured datasets to drive insights is preferred. An MBA, CPA, CFA, or progress toward one of these credentials is a plus but is not required.

  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Preferred skills include Asset Allocation, Auditing Operations, Business Case Analyses, Capital Management, Data Analytics, Financial Analysis, Market Research, Strategic Planning.
  • Competencies include Asset and Liability Management (ALM), Decision Making and Critical Thinking, Effective Communications, Financial Forecasting and Modeling, Financial Services Industry, Liquidity Management, Market Risk, Regulatory Environment - Financial Services.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university/college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required.
  • Education: Bachelors.

Pay

Base Salary: $91,000.00 – $202,800.00

This role is available in Pittsburgh, PA or New York City, NY.
