Associate Director, Corporate Strategy
Responsibilities
- Support first-principles thinking to define firm-level strategic priorities
- Partner with senior leaders to evaluate critical, high-impact decisions
- Contribute to shaping the firm's portfolio and financial aspirations
- Evaluate the external market landscape, client demand shifts, macroeconomic trends, and competitor moves
- Lead the development of data-driven business cases for strategic decisions and investments
- Drive core strategic analytics to deliver insights that enable informed decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business units (Finance & Accounting, Operations), and key business leaders
- Evaluate financial outlooks, prioritize investments, and ensure roadmaps achieve long-term objectives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business unit leaders, corporate development, and ecosystems leadership
- Evaluate the ecosystem network against the firm's growth strategy, capability needs, and innovation opportunities
- Prepare high-impact strategy presentations, business cases, and investment memos for executive leadership and senior management
- Clearly articulate complex strategic concepts and provide data-driven recommendations
- Leverage executive presence to socialize strategic imperatives
- Mentor, guide, and help develop a high-performing team of strategy analysts
- Foster a collaborative environment and act as a resource for strategic thought leadership within the firm
Qualifications
- Minimum eight years of recent progressive experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, or a related field, with demonstrated experience leading strategic projects or cross-functional teams
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited college or university is highly preferred; minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, economics, finance, or a related field is required
- Strong financial modeling, investment analysis, and quantitative problem-solving skills; proven ability to synthesize complex variables into clear frameworks to evaluate the financial viability of strategic bets
- Prominent track record of successfully influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional leaders on resource and investment decisions
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating executive-level presentations, investment memos, and business narratives
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, prioritizing resources effectively under ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
