Associate Director, Content Strategy

About the role

For our client, we are seeking an Associate Director, Content Strategy to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will guide content strategy across complex digital programs, helping shape how enterprise experiences are structured, governed, and delivered. The position partners closely with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align editorial, UX, and delivery content approaches with broader digital transformation goals. It also supports content frameworks that improve discoverability, personalization, and AI-enabled search performance. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead content strategy workstreams across various program stages
• Oversee editorial, UX, and delivery content strategy execution
• Facilitate client workshops and stakeholder alignment meetings
• Present polished deliverables and recommendations to stakeholders
• Design content frameworks that enhance AI Search and personalization
• Develop machine-readable content strategies with structured data
• Coach cross-functional teams on content strategy practices

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in content strategy, content design, or digital strategy
• 3+ years of experience leading workstreams and guiding client stakeholders
• Deep expertise in editorial, UX, and delivery content strategies
• Strong knowledge of digital redesigns and enterprise digital transformations
• Expertise with CMS and digital platforms like Sitecore or Adobe Experience Manager
• Proficient in creating taxonomies, metadata models, and governance documentation
• AI fluency with practical experience using generative AI tools

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually
