Associate Director, Clinical Scientist

For our client, we are seeking a Associate Director, Clinical Scientist to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will help shape clinical science strategy across study planning, protocol design, and study execution in a highly regulated development environment. The Associate Director will partner closely with clinical operations, regulatory, and cross-functional scientific teams to generate clear, decision-ready insights from complex trial data. The work will support the advancement of clinical programs by strengthening study quality, documentation, and external collaboration. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $195,000 annually Responsibilities Lead clinical science components of study plans and protocol design. Review and summarize clinical trial safety and efficacy data for team discussions. Coordinate clinical science activities and maintain organized documentation. Support study conduct in compliance with protocols and GCP regulations. Prepare and review clinical reports and presentations in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Contribute to regulatory submissions and scientific documents. Build relationships with external partners and represent the clinical science team. Qualifications PhD, PharmD, or MD in a related life science discipline required. 4+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry; rare disease experience preferred. Experience supporting clinical trials and studies; human pharmacology studies preferred. Ability to review and present complex scientific and clinical data effectively.
