Associate Director - Client Relationship Manager
About the role
Fitch Learning is seeking an Associate Director, Sales & Business Development based in their Chicago office. This role is focused on sales by developing strategic client relationships, generating new business, and leading consultative sales conversations for their premium training and learning solutions.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business and grow sales revenue across target accounts
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through proactive outreach and networking
- Lead consultative sales conversations with clients and prospects
- Manage the full sales cycle, from discovery to proposal, negotiation, and close
- Identify sales opportunities to expand existing client relationships
- Partner with internal teams to sell and deliver tailored learning solutions
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting and forecasting
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or client relationship management
- Proven success in a consultative B2B sales role
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders and managing multiple sales opportunities
- Experience in sales, financial services, training, education, or professional services preferred
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the US financial markets industry
- Experience selling training, learning, talent, or professional development solutions
- Strong consultative sales, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a small, agile team environment and adapt to evolving client and business needs
- Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders and growing strategic accounts over time

Pay
The starting base annual salary for this role is between $120,000 USD to $135,000 USD. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
Schedule
Flexible schedule with three days in-office per week when not meeting with clients.
