Associate Director, CCTS Evaluation & Tracking

About the role

The CCTS Associate Director of Evaluation and Tracking plans, develops and implements the unit's core mission strategies including overseeing the development of processes for capturing output and outcome data used to evaluate performance effectiveness and track progress and impact among the various programs of the CCTS.

Responsibilities

• Develops objectives and design research and data collection procedures for the Evaluation and Tracking Program.
• Provide expertise in science policy and studies of collaboration and interdisciplinarity.
• Works with senior leadership and core directors to collect evaluation data, produce regular and periodic reports to meet aims and communicate accurate reporting of evaluation findings.
• Serves as team lead for the CTSA Consortium Impact committee and working groups; and represents the CTSA at national meetings and within the national CTSA consortium.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in health, biological, social, or behavioral science required; PhD preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in research, program evaluation, data analysis, or performance measurement.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing quantitative and/or qualitative research or evaluation studies.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods, including experience with at least one analytical tool (e.g., R, Python, Stata, SPSS, or similar).
• Experience working with complex datasets, including data cleaning, management, and interpretation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, or presentations that translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.

Pay

The previously determined salary range for this position was $85,000 to $110,000.
