About the role
Seeking a creative and energetic bilingual (Spanish/English) individual to assist in the strategic expansion of St. Frances Cabrini Shrine in upper Manhattan. This growth-oriented position involves:
- Working alongside the Executive Director to develop outreach, marketing, and mission-centered initiatives
- Developing print, digital content, and programming that increases devotion to Mother Cabrini and enflames hearts with love of Jesus
- Building relationships with donors and helping to establish new development initiatives
- Planning events and speaking to groups
The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with 7-10 years in non-profit marketing or communications who is relational, passionate about his/her faith, and yearns to help the Church grow.
Responsibilities
- Develop outreach, marketing, and mission-centered initiatives
- Create print and digital content, and programming
- Build relationships with donors and establish new development initiatives
- Plan events and speak to groups
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- BA from an accredited college or university
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Able to manage multiple projects at once
- Experience with event planning and public speaking
- Strong computer literacy and adept at learning software such as client management systems, Constant Contact, WordPress, and social media
- 5-10 years of experience in non-profit marketing or communications
Schedule
Full time, with at least one weekend day required. The Shrine is closed on Mondays.
Pay
Salary range: $80,000–$88,000
