About The Role
The Associate Director, Annuity Product Management, drives the successful implementation of all aspects of annuity product initiatives and provides ongoing support for current annuity products. This role is recognized within the organization as a product expert.
Responsibilities
- Execute new product launches and provide ongoing oversight of Corebridge Retirement Services’ suite of annuity products, including group and individual products across fixed, fixed indexed, RILA, and variable annuity products.
- Drive the design and implementation of group and individual annuity products for defined contribution plans and the rollover & retail market.
- Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to inform new product designs.
- Maintain expertise on products, operational practices, and industry and regulatory issues.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on products, providing expertise and confidence in response to technical and general questions.
- Assist with launching annuity products, services, and enhancements to the current product lineup.
- Coordinate project life cycles with cross-functional teams (IT, legal, compliance, finance, sales, and marketing) to ensure timely execution of product timelines.
- Develop and maintain project plans and timelines for annuity product development.
- Create business requirements and product specifications for new products/features and revisions to existing products.
- Support other team members with project tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Annuity product and administration/operations knowledge.
- Retirement industry and retirement plan knowledge.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and adapt priorities as deadlines change.
- Fundamental knowledge of project management methodologies (waterfall and AGILE).
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
- Series 6 license.
- LIMRA/LOMA certifications in annuity and/or retirement products (preferred).
