Associate Director and Corporate Counsel

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Associate Director and Corporate Counsel to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will support international growth by providing practical legal guidance across commercial, privacy, employment, and regulatory matters. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel to help the business expand responsibly across key non-US markets. It is a strong fit for a lawyer who can balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast-moving, consumer-facing healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Pay

$150,000 – $175,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Advise on legal issues related to international business expansion
• Negotiate and draft commercial agreements while ensuring compliance with global laws
• Support privacy compliance, including GDPR and local equivalents, in non-US markets
• Advise on marketing and consumer protection laws in target markets
• Ensure health and telehealth regulatory compliance in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage employment legal matters across international jurisdictions
• Coordinate litigation and regulatory inquiries with internal and external counsel

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in at least one jurisdiction, preferably the UK or Ireland
• 1-5 years of post-qualification experience or equivalent
• Fluency in English with in-house legal experience in key European markets, including France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, or Italy
• 3+ years of relevant experience in the consumer, online platform, or healthcare sectors
• Experience with privacy laws and regulatory compliance, particularly in international contexts
