About the role
Address social issues of our local and global communities through high-impact practices of experiential learning, service, and civic engagement. Support short-term and immersive service experiences executed by 20+ student community service organizations. Oversee Denison’s voter education and voter registration efforts. Supports the Alford Community Leadership and Involvement Center’s mission to provide co-curricular learning opportunities that foster growth, community, and values-based leadership to develop community and connection. CLIC oversees: leadership development, service, student organizations, fraternity and sorority life, and major campus events. The Division of Student Life at Denison University fosters a dynamic and supportive campus culture where holistic student development thrives. Recognizing that learning extends far beyond the classroom, into residence halls, student organizations, athletics, and campus leadership, our team works collaboratively to empower students to build community, respect self and others, and prepare for impactful post-graduate lives.
Responsibilities
- Leads and supports community service, civic engagement, and student leadership initiatives that connect Denison students with meaningful opportunities to learn, serve, and engage with their communities.
