About the role
The Associate Digital Project Manager provides leadership and guidance to key internal stakeholders from project inception to completion, ensuring projects stay on time and on task. This role requires a strong understanding of digital platforms including websites, mobile apps, and social platforms. Beyond managing internal teams and deliverables, the Associate Digital Project Manager will also lead client and account-level relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manages the gathering of digital requirements and organizes the planning and scheduling of digital programs in conjunction with the overall digital strategy.
- Translates documented requirements into actionable briefs.
- Works in close collaboration with Account Services, and at times directly with the client, to understand overall project objectives.
- Develops estimates in a project management tool for client review and approval.
- Actively manages the planning, implementation, and execution of digital marketing projects with internal teams and clients upon project approval.
- Attends and actively participates in all status meetings, client meetings, and calls.
- Guides day-to-day development of digital programs within approved plans and in accordance with client’s objectives and budgets.
- Ensures progressive stages are approved with adequate time to meet schedules and that deadlines are met.
- Understands user experience and information architecture.
- Interfaces with development partners to schedule back-end development.
- Schedules quality assurance (testing) procedures to ensure error-free work product.
- Manages the scheduling of evaluation and analysis of digital program performance and prepares reports for clients as required.
- Builds and nurtures productive business relationships with clients, vendors, and agency members.
- Travels to client locations when appropriate.
- Enters time on a daily basis.
- Travels periodically, as needed.
Requirements
- Understanding of Internet technology and digital marketing.
- Basic level of HTML.
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, computer science, information science technology, or a related discipline.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- 1-2 years of advertising or digital agency experience preferred.
- Content management system experience preferred.
- Able to follow established guidelines and instructions to perform daily job functions.
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with customers.
- Able to multitask, work quickly, and efficiently under pressure.
- Maintains a professional image in both internal and external communications.
