Associate Dentist

About the role

We are seeking a talented, experienced Dentist in Turkey Creek, TN to provide quality dental care in a collaborative and supportive dental practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of preventative, restorative, endodontic, and surgical procedures that fall under the scope of general dentistry.
• Work and grow with your office and region to provide the best treatment for your patients.
• Treat patients referred for specialty treatment by bringing Board Specialists into your office.
• Deliver excellent dental care through evidence-based dentistry, focusing on teamwork to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Comprehensive oral examinations and evaluations to diagnose dental problems.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Perform a wide range of procedures, including fillings, cleanings, extractions, and root canals.
• Provide education on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Prescribe medications for patients as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including X-rays and treatment histories.
• Refer patients to specialists for complex treatments.
• Ensure all work complies with safety, OSHA, and infection control standards.

Requirements

• DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school.
• Active, unrestricted state dental license or in the process of obtaining a license upon graduation.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• DEA certification.
• NPI number.

Qualifications

• Experience in general dentistry.
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
