Associate Dean of Nursing

About the role

The Associate Dean of Nursing oversees the academic programs and administrative functions within the nursing department. They are responsible for ensuring that all nursing courses meet accreditation standards and provide high-quality educational experiences for students.

Responsibilities

• Oversee academic programs and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Manage faculty and staff resources to support student success.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance departmental operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of nursing education with clinical practice.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing faculty and staff.

Requirements

• MBA or Master’s degree in Nursing Administration or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in higher education administration, preferably in nursing.
• Proven track record of successful program development and management.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
