About the role
Reporting directly to Dean Maria R. Shirey, the Associate Dean for Research and Scholarship (ADRS) serves on the School's executive leadership team and provides strategic leadership for the School's research enterprise, scholarly activities, and doctoral education programs. The ADRS will advance a culture of innovation and scientific excellence, support faculty and investigator success, expand interdisciplinary collaborations, and strengthen the School's national and international research impact.
Requirements
- Research doctorate in nursing or a related discipline
- Qualify for a tenured appointment at the rank of Professor
- Demonstrated distinguished record of funded research, scholarly achievement, mentorship, and leadership within a research-intensive academic environment
- If a nurse, eligible for RN licensure in Alabama
