About The Role

This role performs financial Quality of Earnings, due diligence, excel financial analysis, and other consultative services for clients who are buying a business, selling a business, or otherwise contemplating some type of merger & acquisition activity.

Responsibilities

• Performs ad hoc financial analysis under tight deadlines.
• Performs original financial statement modeling with a high degree of accuracy.
• Writes reports on findings for communication to the client and their advisors.
• Performs the detail financial due diligence, collecting and analyzing financial data to detect errors in financial reporting.
• Summarizes key accounting policies and detects key issues which may impact transaction value or client risk.
• Helps build detailed analysis and reports based on findings to be delivered to the client under tight deadlines while maintaining highest quality standards.
• Supports multiple engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress and results to supervisors.
• Completes assigned portions of engagements with consistency and accuracy and within tight time frames.
• May begin to direct small quality of earnings projects at the two-year level.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Exposure to financial statement preparation, audits, and reviews preferred.
• Working towards CFA, CPA or other post-graduate degree or relevant industry/service certification.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and/or regulations impacting each engagement or project, financial markets, analysis and reporting of financial data.
• Understanding of internal software systems including Pfx Engagement, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Windows and Office.

Pay

The compensation range for this position in Colorado is: $60,000 - $99,000. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
