About the role

This role is within our Trade and Customs practice.

Responsibilities

  • Research and advise clients in a variety of industries on import and export matters
  • Utilize data analytics tools to help solve supply chain problems
  • Develop innovative solutions to help clients conduct their business, encompassing people, processes, and technology
  • Work with clients' business, technology, and compliance resources on global trade processes and procedures
  • Develop and maintain client and internal relationships
  • Train and mentor interns
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of recent programming experience, involving but not limited to SQL, Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, Fabric, Python, Power Automate, C#, and more
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or foreign equivalent in business, information systems, computer science, management information systems, business analytics, or related fields
  • Flexibility and ability to think creatively and critically in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment; strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future

Pay

California salary range: $67,450 – $123,740. Salary is determined based on relevant factors such as applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and market considerations.
