Associate CV Special Procedure Technologist

About the role

The Associate Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist assists in performing advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Under the supervision of leadership and the care team, this role monitors patient conditions, ensures equipment readiness, and assists in patient positioning, while adhering to safety and sterile protocols in the cardiac catheterization lab.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Operate and monitor radiographic imaging equipment.
• Assist in patient positioning and preparation for procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and leadership.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly before and during procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification.
• State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• ARRT (R) or RCIS certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
