About the role
The Southeastern Museums Conference is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for managing the organization's marketing efforts, including social media management, email campaigns, and event promotion.Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the organization’s social media presence, including content creation and scheduling.
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to engage members and supporters.
- Coordinate and promote the organization’s events through various channels.
- Collaborate with the development team to support fundraising initiatives.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of the website and other digital platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in marketing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media management platforms.
Qualifications
- Experience with CRM systems and database management.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
